Bought this during Prime days, thought it would be something fun and different to play with (I’m 55 and looking for a new hobby).
Anyhow sat in the box a few days until I could find some free time in an evening. Charged the batteries, took it out to the back yard, and started to get the feel of it. I was only flying it by standing directly behind it, so forward/backward/left/right the movements corresponded to the movements of the controls (I was a long way from flying with the camera).
Long story short, several times the drone seemed to lose contact with the remote and keep flying in whatever direction it was going when it lost contact. The last time, it went over the back fence and out over the neighborhood pond. I’ve walked around the pond several time since then, and put out a request on the neighborhood FB page to keep an eye out for it… at this point I have to assume it splashed in to pond never to be seen again.
So, 10 minutes into my new hobby, it was over, and I was out $65. Very disappointed!!

The drone wasn’t responding to any of our action on the command, just flew straight away and we lost it on our first flight. Bad connection to the remote won’t recommend

this is my first drone, making me a beginner. knowing it would take time and practice to get the feel of flying, i wasnt sure i wound even get the hang of it, or like this kind of sport. . plus, with no experience, there will be several crashes. had plenty of crashes and the drone has held up. no damages. so far. have flown directly into trees, tree limbs, garage, and ground just to name a few. no damages. lost control over a 75+ foot pine tree, crashing all the way through tree to ground. no damages. not saying this drone is a super tough drone, but its held up so far. with the low price, if it does get damaged beyond repair, im not out much money. its worth the try. drone seems user friendly, simple to operate, but… user needs to get the feel for flying, which will(like anything else), takes practice. thats part of the fun. depending on your skill level, user may get the hand of flying in a few tries. keep in mind, there is not much range with this drone. advertised at a 100 meters. slightly over football field. after that range, drone was not very responsive. but for me, not a deal breaker. would buy again. also… bought extra batteries to keep the fun going.

Good for the price I recommend this to any beginner in the drone multiverse. I didn’t know what to except from this after looking up so many expensive drones but overall I’m impressed with this item. It’s wind-friendly ( if you don’t panic ) fast and a lot funnier than I thought it’d be. Great gift for kids as well as adults. I hit it against a wall a car a tree the flew head on to the concrete and still working perfect just got some scratch that’s all. I definitely like it and will buy 3 more as a gift for my people.

I have purchased two of them. The first one went to my grandson (13) and he has been playing with it for months. Purchased another one for my husband, but it was defective so I have returned that one and we are waiting for a replacement. Hopefully it won’t be long. As of now they are saying they have a supply chain issue. I can’t wait till we get it so they can have fun flying it together.

this one is probably on me because i knew a brushless motor is what you need but i opted for the brushed because its cheaper and this thing is so hard to control because you are constantly fighting against the wind while controlling it. even on the least windy day this thing gets swept away it will never just hover in place and the higher you go the worse it gets. whereas my friends brushless one will hover in place super high up even in mild wind and it is 100x easier to control because of that and way more fun since you arent just focusing on fighting the wind the whole time. dont make the same mistake i made and get a brushless motor ESPECIALLY if its for a kid.
