Abacus –
Most printers today seem to be wireless, and enable you to avoid cords entirely. Sometimes we like to hook them up directly to avoid wireless challenges or as in my case to enable a printer to be on a different network such that the computer its hooked up on a wired network is on one network (and shared through a direct connection) and it still has access directly to a different wireless network. If that’s confusing don’t worry about it – it’s just my hack at running the same printer on two different concurrent networks. The important thing is that this cable simply works as it should, providing bi-directional USB connectivity between my computer and my printer.
To my pleasant surprise, this 5ft USB 2.0 high speed printer cable came as a pair, although not described this way in the product description. There aren’t a lot of alternative requirements for a USB-A to USB-B connector other than a printer or even the occasional USB Hub these days, although I also ended up using the second cable for my Kanto desktop speakers which use this USB-A to USB-B for a digital connection from the PC to the speaker’s internal DAC.
The cables are well made and just work. And the price point is extremely attractive. Highly recommend.

I got this cable to replace a shorter USB-B cable I’ve been using with my Blue Snowball microphone. I tried another longer cable before this one, and it added a lot of audio noise to my microphone. That is not a problem with this cable, and it performs perfectly!
In addition to being high quality, it also fits snugly into my microphone, which is nice since I move it around my desk a lot, and it’s nice not worrying about the cable backing out from getting bumped around.
If you’re looking for a USB-B cable that is high quality for more than just a printer, this is the one! Highly recommended!

Description just says “cable” and everything is listed as singular, but I got two cords. They both work. They do feel a bit thin, but I they worked just fine when I hooked them up from my PC to my printer. Not a lot to say beyond that – want a cord that works? These work. Maybe you will get two like I did as well. Or one. Not sure.

I just needed a simple cable to use to connect a 3D printer to my computer and this seemed to work well enough. It’s braided which makes it more flexible than a typical plastic coated cable. While that’s nice, it does seem to be a bit flimsy feeling. But, it worked. So in general, I’m happy with the results.
