Update the 1st Update: It was not the cable at all but the introduction of a new cable box/wifi router into the equation. I blamed my equipment and the humidity cables, none of which was true. Plugging thud new box into my TV is what caused the hum. Removing that cable connected hmdi connection fixed my hum problem. Sometimes its something very simple… Update: This regular HDMI cable will not work in my audio visual setup. It introduces a 60 cycle AC hum when connecting the laptop to my Hi Def TV. I thought it was my expensive mixing and speaker equipment. It was the cable. BTW, ANY regular HDMI cable will cause this issue. I had to order a fiber optic version of the HDMI cable for 4x’s more money, but it will be worth it. The hum is unacceptable as I use it to make my synth and DAW duplicate to the big screen so I can use the DAW much more easily. (I don’t have to use my reading glasses and editing music notation is much more fun.) If you have a similar set up, it may not be your equipment, but the cable. I am returning this one and have already placed the order for the fiber optic version. See my original review below. I snaked this product (20 ft.) behind my TV, down to the floor, across the room behind the radiator, under my synth keyboard and into my laptop stand. I use this setup as a music production system, connecting my laptop to the same TV I use as a monitor for my desktop PC. It is perfection in every aspect: sound, video resolution, etc. It makes my rig look very professional since I can now see the contents of my laptop screen on a 60″ HDTV. This cord makes it all neat and clean. I love it when product works right the first time. This one did!

Ordered this cable to solve a problem. Whenever we watched Spacex lift-offs (streaming from computer to TV) we had EXTREMLY annoying problems with buffering. This cable completely solved the problem.

I’m using this to hook an iPad or iPhone up to an HDMI TV to use as a monitor. Great for travel also when there’s no cable at the accomodation which is the case in a lot of places we like to visit. Works well and gives us more flexibility with the iPad positioning.

Wirklich mehr als „ein Kabel“, wie die Messungen zeigten. Keinerlei Störungsstrahlung einerseits, andererseits völlig unbeeindruckt von zum Teil straken Magnetfeldern, welche wir einsetzten. Auch die Schnelligkeit der Übertragungsraten qualifiziert dieses Teil zu recht den Zusatz „4K“ zu tragen. Bild- und Ton“Spur“ werden weitestgehend verlustfrei übertragen und die Anschlüsse sitzen satt in den Kupplungen. Dazu noch ein Preis, welcher überraschend ist.

I have purchased too many HDMI cables over the years to recall. Most were fairly cheap construction and just got the job done. I bought a few “high end” cables that were well made and fairly expensive ($80 for a 1 meter cable with a “locking connector” that didn’t seem to grip much better than anything else). This cable is very well made, from the connectors to the braided cable body I would say construction is first class. Performance is excellent on a new 4K Vizio TV I am using it on. I would definitely buy more cables from the manufacturer and highly recommend it.

es wurden 2 Kabel bestellt, 1 fur DVD das Andere für den Receiver von Vodafon. DVD angeschlossen, es überträgt in HDR superscharfe Bilder. Receiver angeschlossen, Bildschirm schwarz, danach Hinweis ” kein Signal ” altes Kabel ran und es gab ein Bild. Vielleicht sollte Vodafon mehr Neuzeit in den Receiver bauen.

I have used this cable for my xbox one, on which i played maybe 10 times in one year, and the cable died. Tv shows now pink dots everywhere. I switched for the original xbox cable and problem was solved. I would not recommend this cable
