The case, so far is pretty good to average as far as protection is concerned. It fit the steam deck well and looks good. At this time, i am not using the case as I did not like how the overall grip felt as this took away some of the comfort on the grips. Also, the top is a little loose and did not fit as tight as I had hoped. However, this one did work with a third party dock without issue. I do not have the official steam dock, I have the Warrky third party dock and this cover did just fine. Overall, if you want to give up a bit of grip comfort for protection, for the msrp it’s a decent option.

When I first recieved the case, it made my steam deck a little awkard to use at first. (Some things are when you get a Case.) It was worth the amount to purchase this product, and the case allows for a comfortable grip when you use it.

Originally used my steam deck without a case when I first got it. Ended up dropping it after a few days and the right bumper no longer responded. Once I sent it in and got it repaired, the first thing I did was to buy a case. Glad to say this case also allows access to the micro sd card (others that I looked at blocked it and required removing the case to get to it)

I really enjoyed this case as much as I did because it’s very easy to hold it it’s not as bulky as I thought it would be. It is also see through which us cool so that you can put a graphic design on your Steam Deck and still see the graphic once you put the case on it. Overall great case.

Goes on easily and looks good. Feels comfortable in the hand and doesn’t block any buttons or ports only gripe is a slight gap at the top as seen in the photo

I like this case. The main reason was that I wanted the option to use a wrap later, and a clear case is great for that. Also I’ve bought HEYSTOP stuff before and have been pleased. It’s a solid case design, cutouts are where they need to be, the material is proper but not too beefy, and it’s durable. There are two improvements I would make though:
1) Go with a slightly firmer material blend–I’d personally prefer a slightly firmer case, but it’s not bad at all. There’s a touch of flex in thin areas like the top bar like others have mentioned, but it’s not a show-stopper at all for me.
2) Widen the cutout for the USB-C power port–if it was 3mm wider on each side I could fit a USB stick with a USB-C adapter into the port without having to remove the case.
These are both pretty minor things though, I still put this thing through its paces regularly.

In summary, it fits well, it doesn’t get in the way, it feels nice to the touch, and it stays cool. Love it!
