Love the profile of the laptop. Initially there was a software issue though. I was so close to returning it as my laptop couldn’t even start up. But it was solved quickly. The intel ARC350M was however not very impressive. It was way weaker than my 2016 1050Ti. Only optimised softwares are much better but the gaming size is very weak.

I buy top-end laptops and replace them every 2 years. I travel frequently so size and weight is at a premium. This is my 4th Samsung 15-inch laptop. My work is all keyboard and mouse-oriented – I have no need for a touchscreen, which adds weight (and thickness!) to any laptop.

microphone did not work out of the box. tried everything and when it came to sending it for service, Samsund gave me crazy run around. Samsung has terrible customer service re Warranty. If you buy one of these, you better pray that nothing will go wrong with it.

Compré este equipo con la intención de sustituir una laptop Razer de hace 3 años. Las laptops Razer tienen la fama y costumbre de ser ruidosas, tener una gestión térmica y duración de batería pésimas. Buscaba un equipo Windows con un balance entre capacidad de procesamiento, duración de batería y comodidad para trabajo, estudio, esparcimiento, y llamadas – grave error elegir este equipo Samsung que pretende ser el más capaz en la categoría de “thin & light”.
El procesador es bastante inestable al ejecutar tareas que requieren audio en vivo (poco de mixing para livestreaming), con frecuencia el sistema operativo se me congeló durante llamadas en Zoom y Twitter Spaces, y en múltiples ocasiones el equipo tardaba minutos en encender tan solo al logo de Samsung. Esta inestabilidad es algo con lo que no puedo trabjar.
La publicidad de Samsung promete “hasta 22 horas de batería”, y mientras entiendo que lograr ese tiempo es imposible en condiciones de uso normales, esperaba lograr al menos unas 10 horas u 8 horas. Nunca logré más de 4 o 5 horas tan solo navegando en Internet en el modo de batería más optimizado y con el brillo más bajo.
El procesador gráfico Intel Arc está prácticamente en Alpha o Beta, y tal vez en papel parece excelente para gaming casual y tareas de edición de gráficos y vídeo casuales, en la práctica es súper inestable y poco optimizado. Sugiero esperar a una siguiente generación o actualizaciones adicionales en software.
La “fuerte integración con el ecosistema de Samsung” es un chiste. Si acaso la única integración interesante es con SmartThings para localizar e interactuar con otros dispositivos. Todo lo demás realmente es poco útil y sólo consume procesador (QuickShare, etc.)
La pantalla es hermosa aunque sea de 1080p, el teclado es súper cómodo y el equipo es súper ligero. Es lo único destacable. El equipo se siente súper frágil, y el plástico es muy poco denso (tal vez para lograr menor peso?) por lo que seguramente se rompa al más mínimo golpe.

This is my third Samsung laptop, and I was very satisfied with the previous two. That’s why I bought another one. I have used it for a year, but it is slower than the latest model. Single and simple operation like connecting Bluetooth requires long patience. I recommend not buying this model.

This is for the non-touch screen version. It is a very thin and sleek laptop. Which actually makes me a little nervous that I will break it. I had a few blue screen issues initially, but latest windows update may have fixed those 🤞. Battery life in standby is great. Screen is bright and easy to look at. So far it is nice.
