We bought this as part of my grandson’s Christmas presents. It was easy to play, he was able to read & understand the directions as a 3rd grader. And he had a blast playing it & won the first game.

  2. Amazon Customer

Very nice game. I played with only two people and it was fun. It’s quick. And the game bring other playing options like “fast food” which are indeed fast, very quick, as for a short break.
    Well done.
Amazon shipped me the product in record time. Amazing

Normal price on amazon $20 and at the time of writing this review you can get for $5 off, still pricey at $15. The card seem nice but after 3 games, corners are pulling apart so don’t think longevity is going to be there. As for the game itself, it’s cute, playable for both kids and adults. I would recommend, needs more cards so more can play without having to buy an expansion pack.

Update: 2023-1 company responded my review and replaced my cards, impressed they reached out to resolve my issues with my cards. Thanks!

When we first opened it there were so many different cards I was worried it would be too confusing for the kids – it wasn’t! You just need to play it once using the directions as a crutch. The kids picked it up quickly and it was really fun. It’s a cute game when you have mixed ages/abilities!

I purchased this a week before Christmas because I thought it would be fun to play with my nephew and the family. We LOVED this game!

It was fairly easy to learn and to play. My nephew (7 yrs old) really enjoyed playing (he’s competitive!) and my parents (67+ yrs old) enjoyed it too!

I liked that it helped my nephew think strategically and also helped reinforce math skills (addition, subtraction, and even multiplication), but was also fun!

I also purchased the Foodie Expansion pack, which added even more fun to the game.

Some of the ingredient cards are weird (hot yogurt? Brains?), but a 7 yr old came up with the game, so that probably explains it.

Great family game for family members of all ages!

  6. GRC

Silly and fun game. Is a hoot and will be a game you will want to play again.

  7. Whammers

Takes less than 5 minutes to master, great fun! Quick game, can be played anywhere. Great addition to family night or for couples bored at home! Can’t wait for the expansion packs.

  8. Jan Lu

Very fun game. Good for both kids and adults. No two games are alike and they can change quickly with a little bit of strategy. Recommend adding the expansion pack for a more robust game. One suggestion – the instruction booklet or video could be a bit more explanatory- a few details are left for you to guess or set your own parameters.

I bought this on a whim for my dad and stepmom (now also grandparents) for Christmas, along with the expansion pack. We played after dinner with eight of us (buy the expansion pack so you can play with up to eight) ranging from 12 to 77 (I’m 51). Very easy to learn and great fun, at one point my sister’s phone went off with a noise warning because our decibel level was so high from laughing and shouting. The game reminds me of Exploding Kittens but definitely has its own fun action cards and objective. For the price it was on Amazon around Christmas this game is a no brainer, buy it as a gift or even for yourself (I’d say it’s worth it even at full price). I definitely recommend the expansion pack which isn’t much more and like I said allows you to play with up to eight and has several more fun and funny action cards.

I appreciate the concept for this game and that it was created by a kid, that’s really cool. The general idea is actually good but I found a lot of issues with actual gameplay. There aren’t that many ingredient cards, far too many action cards instead. There’s also super overpowered cards like the Order Envy one where you can have the most valuable burrito/taco for the entire game and on the last turn, someone can just take your entire burrito and win with it, it’s insane and so frustrating for everyone involved to play. Nobody was happy by the end of this game, two upset children 😂 I wish I could send it back and get a refund to be honest.

What caught my attention was that it said games were less than 15 minutes.
My son (14) is always asking my wife to play either Exploding Kittens or Monopoly.
My wife would always complain to me when he wanted to play Monopoly because it takes so long.
So I bought Taco vs Burrito as a Christmas gift for the two of them. They both enjoy playing it, especially my wife because it does take less than 15 minutes to play a game. She said “brilliant!”

  12. Louis Godden

Spent a while looking a game me and my partner could play as a two but also could play with others (if we are allowed to see them again – Covid-19 dependant). This had good reviews so have it go. Quite a simple game to pick up and quick to play (10 minutes game time). Fun flavour combinations so worth a purchase.

  13. Lady P

Concepts are pretty easy and game lasts about 15 minutes, which is great for families. We would play 1 round a night after dinner during Christmas break, so each night we upped our strategies. 10 year old really enjoyed playing together.
