Ordered and installed the 40ft TESMAX cat8 and it went well, it has solid nicely clicking connectors and rubber shielded cabling that’s solid but flexible when routing through walls at my home. Connectors give a distinct click feedback when connected. In general terms of quality when evaluating cable I’d go by the connector – if you can’t easily plug it into a router and hear a solid click with the feeling it’s connected stop there most likely the connector is cheap and so is the rest. As far as data throughput speeds I didn’t put this through the upper throughput level test, my home connection has a max of 700mbps which this delivers if plugged directly into the cable modem. I also wouldn’t pay attention to price when it comes to cabling if. you’re doing home cabling, another $20 on a 50ft cable is a time and quality issue – $20 isn’t worth the aggravation of sweating on a Saturday morning routing through walls and ending up with a brittle cable that’s not flexible and has bad connectors. The TESMAX is solid from end to end. FYI I used it to connect an ASUS RT-AX58U wifi router to an Apple TV.
Should note I tried another cable before the TESMAX – one of the nylon mesh exterior cat8 ones. The connectors were cheap you couldn’t tell if they were plugged in, the durability in terms of routing through walls was suspect. Installed (routing through several wall holes, upstairs to downstairs in. home) and amazingly there was no data transmission – at all. Beware that this is possible, I’m guessing just routing it through wall boards in some way damaged it.

Very robust cable for home or personal use. Pairs well with high performance PCs. Cable management can be slightly more irritating with this cable when running it longer distances as the thickness of the cable means that it tends to hold it’s shape for longer.
