They work for cat5e and cat6 respectively but there’s a trade-off. The boot does not snug flush around cat5e cable b/c the opening is too big, closer to cat6 diameter. With that, these are good enough for locking strain reliefs when cat6 specific boots don’t fit cat5e connectors and I think better than the rubber slip on boots.
