I am not a heavy phone user, no video editing, no video games. I just use it to browse the internet, watch videos and stream music. It does all those things perfectly and it’s battery life is really long. I only really have problems with running out of charge if I have been streaming video literally all day. Transferring my data wasn’t hard either, even coming from a samsung.

The phone itself was actually nicer than I was expecting for a ‘mid range’ phone from a year or so ago but after taking it to my local metro storefront I could not activate it. Contacted seller, followed their return process which involved me basically filling out an RMA form, spoke with customer service who said the phone would be replaced within 1-2 days of vendor getting it back and I asked them to update me if there were any issues after it had been delivered. A few hours later I get a notification that the order had been refunded. Contact customer support again and they said they were not able to fulfill the return, I’m guessing that means they didn’t have another phone and whatever the issue that was causing the phone to not be able to be activated could not be fixed. If they had just told me that from the beginning I could have saved 4 days but at least the refund did go through properly. Now to hunt down another phone to try again.

Update: Got second phone from another vendor. Took phone to local Metro store to activate it and they again told me they couldn’t activate the phone. After some back and forth with Metro and the vendor I decided to try another carrier and had no problem activating the phone. This makes me believe the first phone was probably fine and the problem was Metro. Don’t know why they didn’t want to activate the phone but I dealt with a local store and their online support and got all kinds of runaround which was pretty disappointing as a long time customer. Paying half the price with 5G service from new provider so yeah. If you have a problem activating a third party phone with Metro the phone is probably fine if the IMEI comes back clean and the phone is unlocked.

Bought this for my son and we have been on T-Mobile for years and never had any trouble activating ANY device, until now. Kept telling me there is a problem with the device. Obviously I returned it.

Massive upgrade from an old Nokia G10. Runs basic apps very smoothly. DOES work with Mint Mobile, setup was quick and painless.

Awesome phone. Easy to use. Nice pics & videos. Battery well over a day, touching on 2 days. Perfect size for me, lightweight, yet well made & sturdy. I bought a renewed unit in “excellent condition”, and I would say it is “like new”. Could not be happier with this purchase.
UPDATE: This phone now operates on Android 12, but I just found out there will not be an update to Android 13. Very disappointed. Security updates to about April 2025, but that’s it.
UPDATE: Amoled screen is supposed to be better for seeing the screen in sunlight. But it doesn’t help at all. No better than any other screen. Other Amoled screen on Samsung phones are much better.
UPDATE: If you return the phone and want the refund back to your Amazon gift account, be prepared to wait about 2 or 3 weeks for the refund to process to your account. Very frustrating.

I like that it has both OxygenOS and HalogenOS for display of the app icons and the functionality of the phone. You can make it work like a traditional Samsung (home, back, other buttons) or you can make it work like an iPhone (gestures and swiping). Its camera is decent, but if you’re looking for a phone AND camera, there are much better options. Here are the reasons I chose it:
    – Works with Mint Mobile*
    – Cheap (getting away from paying $1000+)
    – I have much more customizability over how many apps I can put per page (this is an Android thing to my knowledge)
    – AUX PORT (very good, high quality aux port that makes a firm connection with my apple earbuds)
    – Still has Android Auto, so you can connect to newer tech in the car (it’ll pop up asking if you want to enable it, I think the option you want to choose is multimedia)
    – The power and volume buttons on this thing are really well made and give a satisfying click
    – USB-C charger
    – Music player (I use Youtube Music)
    – I am a simple person who wants an mp3 player and a cell phone in one device

*Note: according to Mint Mobile, this phone will work with them, but I have not actually purchased and tried the plan myself.

I have had iPhone and several random android phones. This OnePlus blows them away, especially considering I only paid $150! Speed is amazing, feature packed and easy to use. Highly recommend

Edit: after lack of response from T-Mobile for multiple weeks for token I returned this.

If you’re getting this for any rooting purposes (Pokémon go for me lol) beware. This phone includes T-Mobile devices. I am not sure if every one is, but it isn’t located in the description. This will require a 7 day wait to unlock the Bootloader Token. I would give this five stars otherwise. Works great, solid phone and smooth!
