I’m not the best on noticing little details. So it’s been a few years of playing my Xbox One S with it not in the best resolution. Come to find out, you have to upgrade HDMI cables to get 4k, it doesn’t work with the OEM cable. Odd.. This cable felt very nice quality as soon as I unpackaged it. Plugged it in and immediately the TV recognized game mode. Went into Xbox settings and switched to 4k. Wish I’d done it sooner. Noticeable difference! Don’t get this expecting PS5 or Xbox Series X graphics, it won’t get that good, but at least it won’t look as fuzzy.

Key advice I pass on to most customers & follow myself: -Use HDMI 2.1 cables. They are the most capable cables for high end content paired with newer televisions & receivers. -Use the shortest HDMI cable possible. This will reduce your chance of dropout with high bitrate content. -Don’t use the cable that came with the TV. I have yet to see a decent cable packaged with a television or receiver.
Which aftermarket cable to choose? Low-Midrange cable: For simple streamer (Apple TV, Roki, etc) to television setups I prefer the Highwings. For the price you can’t do much better. The cable does have issues with 4k 10-bit at 60hz (commonly used for Xbox one X gaming). It also struggles with HDR10, which is being more commonly used in movies. I have no success with Highwings & HDR10+ or Dolby Digital. I think that content pushes to high of a bandwidth for it.
High-End cable: Fusion8k is the industry leader at this moment. Installs of the newest Televisions and projectors will be pushing HDR10+ & Dolby digital. I have been using the Fusion cables for these installs because saving a few bucks on an HDMI cable is usually not worth my time when having to come back and troubleshoot issues on previous installs.

I have purchased several 4K HDMI cables from Amazon and they have all worked well, until recently.
I went to a 4K TV in the family room from an older HD TV. Along with the new Sony TV I got a new Yamaha receiver (TSR-700) and a new 4K Apple TV…and new 4K HDMI cables from Amazon.
I got everything working except the Apple TV which would not allow 4K HDR resolution. After working with the Apple TV box and the receiver and the TV I finally gave up and purchased this HDMI cable.
After I installed the new cable, I turned on everything and went to Apple TV. I went to check settings and the box had automatically gone to Dolby Vision resolution, the highest available. The programs on Apple TV that had previously not played or played in HD (1080p) now played in Dolby Vision.
I previously thought that the different HDMI cables were all probably the same, I now know I was incorrect, This HDMI cable is better than the other 4K cables I have been using.

I thought I needed a 30 foot cable to reach from my PC to my TV, but turns out I really only needed like 20 feet. Nevertheless the 30 foot cable works just fine, I was iffy if it would work because many sites say you shouldn’t go above 20 feet with a passive HDMI. I’m glad this worked out because active and fiber HDMI cables are much more expensive than this cable. It might not work for every setup, but I’m happy with this cable, it worked just fine for mine.

Works 4K hdr for real. High definition. So I have an enclosed area so even though I have 4’ away this was long enough to go from the back of tv then out the back enter entertainment cabinets which takes about two foot then run it back the two ‘ and Down then to tv four feet away . It’s frustrating learning.I bought a 6 foot ,to short. Also I have a telescoping tv mount so it’s able to pull the tv out . Another 1’ . So get this bigger/ longer one so you have more then not enough length for the above mentioned. Reviewed by Awkward1

So far so good. I had purchased a laptop and the cable sent with it would not power-up the extended monitor. This one did, immediately, so we know it was the lack of capability of the previous cable sent. (Even though we could see the monitor was attached, the cable did not allow enough ‘juice’ to run the monitor. Something to remember if anyone runs into this issue as I had to pay a techie to advise me of it after all other avenues did not work. Now, I would pay this price FIRST, then if that fails, call for back-up.)

The back of my monitor is full of cables and wires that after a while I long forget what each goes to. Having short cord lenghts is a plus for my situation. This is a high quality 8K HDMI connection and it is exactly the lenght I need to help keep the area around my monitor tidy.
Another plus is that this is a quality product which performs as expected.

A cable is just a cable no matter what they say. So main criteria are just that the connectors and cable are of good quality and assembled properly for long lasting results. So not much I can say about the cable other than it works as expected and seems to be well constructed. Working great so no complaints and recommended. If you can find something similar and cheaper that works too. But price was ok for this and is good quality.
